Royal LePage Lakes of Muskoka Realty’s social media has yet to significantly increase engagement despite loyal followers occasionally liking and sharing posts.

THE CONCEPT

To increase user engagement and brand awareness, a contest has been launched as a part of a campaign encouraging followers to showcase their homes. The #ShowOffYourCurbAppeal campaign uses vibrant imagery and a warm colour palette to depict the warmth of springtime. An accompanying email newsletter urges participants to capture images of their homes’ exteriors. The best entry will win a $1200 prize that can be utilized for home staging.

THE EXECUTION

The email newsletter showcases contest details and links to Royal LePage’s current listings, while the social posts provide engaging curb appeal tips. Mobile readiness is important, as our audience consists of high-performing device users. A fresh design with warm colours that scream “Springtime”, and simple writing with clear headlines ensures that our message is delivered in a way that is fun and easy. And it never hurts to include a contest sure to garner excitement.
